Ingredients
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored and finely grated
- 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon grape juice or sweet red wine (optional)
Directions
Measure the raisins into a small bowl and pour boiling water over them to cover. Let stand until they plump up, about 10 minutes, and then drain.
Combine the raisins with the rest of the ingredients in a medium serving bowl. Serve immediately.
