This month includes a day set aside for honoring our fathers. Would yours be pleased with a gift made in his name — or in his memory — to save organic farmland forever?
Café Ambrosia, the innovative gourmet vegetarian restaurant on Seattle’s Lake Union, spotlights the Farmland Fund during June.
This month, the Fund will receive $1 for every guest dining at Café Ambrosia who is a PCC member. But the support goes far beyond that!
On Summer Solstice, Thursday, June 21, a special four-course celebration with two formal seatings benefits the Fund. Early seating begins 5 to 6 p.m., Second seating starts 8 to 9 p.m. for viewing the sunset on this longest day of the year. Dinner is by reservation only.
The four-course meal is $50 per person. Four courses with three paired organic Washington wines is $70 per person. Prices don’t include tax or gratuity, and the usual 10 percent discount for PCC members won’t apply this night.
The menu features produce from Dungeness Organic Produce, Full Circle Farm, and Rent’s Due Ranch with wines from China Bend, Badger Mountain, and Lopez Island Vineyards. The evening includes live music.
