Description
Throw away that takeout menu and join Pranee as she guides you through the fundamental techniques for making Thai favorites right in your own kitchen. Pranee will explain the pillars of Thai flavorsweet, sour, spicy, and saltyand demystify essential ingredients. You'll create a flavorful broth for Tom Kha Gai (chicken coconut soup), learn to make the very best Pad Thai in town, and prepare delicious Kao Neow Sangkaya (coconut black rice with pandan custard) for dessert.

About the instructor: Pranee learned to cook from her mother and grandmother in Phuket, Thailand. When she came to Seattle, she brought her mortar and pestle and began cooking for friends. She is now a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals and the owner of I Love Thai Cooking, where she teaches, and shares recipes and cooking wisdom. She goes to Thailand yearly to collect and preserve authentic recipes and is working on a cookbook. Pranee says, “You don’t need to visit Thailand to learn Thai cooking.”

- Cancellation Policy: Commencing November 1, 2024, cooking class fees are fully refundable to the original form of purchase if a refund is requested not less than 7 days prior to the class date. Refunds requested less than 7 days prior to the class date will not be granted. Unused class fees cannot be applied to the cost of other classes.
