Description
Tickets are priced per person. Take a culinary journey to New Orleans in this cooking class on the region’s best-known foods. You’ll practice developing a deep, dark roux as a foundation for gumbo, making a flavorful base of bacon and aromatics for sauteing greens, and practice mixing and shaping dough to make fluffy, flaky biscuits. And for dessert, you’ll prepare a dark rum sauce and learn to flambe off the alcohol for a showstopping Bananas Foster. With all you’ve learned in class you’ll be able to recreate iconic flavors of Bourbon Street at home.
