Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- Dash of fish sauce
- 2 to 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup kimchi, well drained
- 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon gochujang, to taste
Directions
Mix together pork, garlic, ginger, sugar, soy sauce, fish sauce, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Divide pork mixture into 8 portions and form into thin patties. Set aside.
In a small bowl, combine kimchi and gochujang. Heap the filling mixture on 1 patty so it stays in the center, with a clean edge all the way around. Place the other patty on top of the fillings and press the edges together with a fork to seal.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly spray grill grates with oil. Grill to desired doneness, flipping just once during cooking.
