Ingredients
- 2 cups dairy or coconut milk kefir, or non-dairy yogurt (see note)
- 2 teaspoons raw honey
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 cup mango puree (about 1 1/2 cups chopped mango or 1 mango)
- 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds (optional for non-dairy version)
Directions
Blend kefir, honey, turmeric, cardamom and mango in a food processor or blender.
Alternate serving suggestion: Stir honey, turmeric and cardamom into yogurt and pour over chopped mango and/or other fruit (banana and mango are a good combination).
Special notes:
To prepare coconut milk kefir, combine 2 tablespoons coconut kefir probiotic supplement with 1 (14-ounce) can full fat coconut milk.
