In this festive class, you’ll learn to bake a trio of delightful Scandinavian treats that are perfect for sharing with family and friends during the holiday season. Our menu includes fragrant Cardamom Buns, rich and buttery with a hint of spice; a tender Apple Walnut Streusel Coffee Cake, perfect for pairing with your favorite hot beverage; and crisp, spiced Pepparkakor (ginger cookies), a Swedish holiday classic. Whether you're a seasoned baker or new to the kitchen, this class will give you the skills to create the flavors of a true Swedish Fika.

About the instructor: Lisa has loved the kitchen for as long as she can remember. While she has experience teaching school subjects to elementary students, as well as cooking and baking professionally, Lisa finds real delight helping people of all ages connect to food, empowering them to transform great ingredients into deliciousness for the whole family. When she’s not teaching, Lisa is busy bringing sourdough bread and other pastries, all made from locally-grown, locally-milled flours, to area Farmer’s Markets. Lisa is a member of the Bread Bakers Guild of America.

- Cancellation Policy: Commencing November 1, 2024, cooking class fees are fully refundable to the original form of purchase if a refund is requested not less than 7 days prior to the class date. Refunds requested less than 7 days prior to the class date will not be granted. Unused class fees cannot be applied to the cost of other classes.
