Ages 8 to 12 In this exciting week-long cooking camp, young chefs will dive into the kitchen and learn essential cooking skills while creating delicious meals from scratch! Each day, kids will practice the basics like measuring, kneading, and seasoning while mastering fundamental cooking techniques. Over the week, kids will gain knowledge of stove top and oven cooking methods, knife skills, and sauces as they chop, sauté, and bake their way through winter break. This winter, give your child the gift of confidence in the kitchen that will foster a life-long love of cooking.

About the instructor: Jane Hall is passionate about the home economy of cooking and baking, sustainable practices in the kitchen, health, wellness and delicious things for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She began working in the food industry at age 13 in a bakery and never looked back. After many years in bakeries and cafes, both front and back of house, she worked as a chef for a small software company. Having successfully raised her child on kale and goat cheese she is full of the desire to help others be creative in the kitchen while being mindful of the budget. In addition to teaching, Jane spends part of her time working at FareStart.

- Cancellation Policy: Commencing November 1, 2024, cooking class fees are fully refundable to the original form of purchase if a refund is requested not less than 7 days prior to the class date. Refunds requested less than 7 days prior to the class date will not be granted. Unused class fees cannot be applied to the cost of other classes. All refund requests must be made by emailing PCC at Classes@pccmarkets.com.
