Description
In this cooking class, kids will learn skills for making simple yet flavorful Mexican fare. With our experts as their guide, they’ll try out techniques for cleaning, cutting and roasting veggies for sweet potato tacos with an avocado-tomatillo salsa side. They’ll also practice making masa dough, pressing it flat and cooking it into tortillas. For sides, they’ll learn to safely pan-fry bacon for refried beans and measure spices for a traditional corn salad. After class, budding young chefs will be prepared to chip in on taco night any time!
Contains pork and dairy.
