Seattle, Wash., January 29, 2014 — PCC Natural Markets (PCC) wins the Retail Group of the Year award in the 12th Annual Washington Wine Awards. Washington State Wine recognizes industry champions that played a vital role in shaping Washington State as both a favored home and destination for those who enjoy outstanding wine.

“We are honored and a little humbled to be recognized for our commitment to offering our customers the best possible selection of Washington wines,” said Jeff Cox, PCC’s Wine Merchandiser. “We think that Washington is far more than just a place where vines grow and are made into wine — it’s an amazingly diverse realm of places and climates, each with its own unique character and flavors.”

PCC recently teamed up with Chinook Wines from Prosser, Wash., to offer its customers with two exclusive blends, Long Live the Kings Yakima Valley Red and White wine. For every bottle purchased of these exclusive wines, two dollars is donated to support work in restoring and protecting wild steelhead and salmon habitat.
