PCC annual meeting at new Fremont store!
600 N. 34th St., Seattle
Sunday, April 27
1 to 5 p.m.
It’s confirmed: the PCC annual membership meeting location has been changed from the Scottish Rite Masonic Center to the new Fremont store construction site.
The annual meeting is a great opportunity for anyone interested in co-op affairs. You’ll hear the State of the Co-op reports from management and the board and hear firsthand from all the candidates seeking election to the new board of trustees. This is your chance to ask them questions and hear their views.
It’s also a terrific chance to get a sneak preview of the new Fremont store-to-be. We’ll provide driving and parking details in our April issue. We look forward to seeing you there!
Kathy Blackman, PCC Board Adminstrator, retires after 27 years
Board member Reed Schilbach (left) congratulates the Rev. Genko Kathy Blackman on her retirement after 27 years of service to PCC. At her last board meeting, Kathy received from the board of trustees a warm blanket for those cold nights in upstate New York. Kathy is going to a monastery there to further her studies. She is the first woman to be ordained a Zen Buddhist priest in the Pacific Northwest.
