Talk to the Board
Saturday, April 21
Redmond PCC, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The board is excited to hold this month’s store visit at the “Healthy Families Day” at Redmond PCC. We’re expanding the regular visit to four hours to meet more of our new members in the Redmond community.
Our discussion question will be, “Are you aware of the ways PCC can help you explore new or unfamiliar foods?”
2007 Election begins this month
Voting in stores and by mail April 27 to May 25
Four PCC members will be asking for your votes in this spring’s election: Alexander Rist (incumbent), Chantal Stevens (incumbent), Buzz Hofford and Kelly Horton. Nominating committee chair Kim Norton says the committee is grateful to all the applicants.
Members will have the opportunity to meet and question the candidates at the annual meeting on Tuesday, May 1.
Look for the special election insert inside the May Sound Consumer. It features photos of, biographical information on, and campaign statements from the candidates along with your ballot. Election material also will be available in our stores and on our Web site beginning April 27. You may vote by mail or in any of our eight stores.
Board chair Bob Cross notes, “Our thanks to the nominating committee for its work this year. We’re excited about all the candidates and we encourage all our members to participate in this vital governance exercise.”
Election volunteers needed
We are looking for members who are willing to volunteer a few hours at their neighborhood PCC between April 27 and May 25 to encourage fellow co-op members to vote. For more information, email
