Holiday Food Drive
December 1 through 31
Join PCC’s Holiday Food Drive by donating funds at the register — the colorful display cards let you know how many servings of food your dollars can purchase. $1 can purchase 21 servings of rolled oats and $5 can purchase 60 servings of brown rice!
Last year, our Holiday Food Drive raised more than $30,000. With 100 percent of the proceeds going to purchasing food for our food bank partners, let’s make this year’s Holiday Food Drive count!

Green Lake Pathway of Lights

Green Lake Park
Green Lake’s 2.8-mile walking path will be lit up by more than 2,500 luminaries. Join us for this magical event where you’ll find musical performances and wintertime cheer. PCC will be at all three stops handing out treats. Stop by the Greenlake Village or Greenlake Aurora PCC hot bars for dinner!
Cookie Fest

Seattle Center’s Armory Loft during Winterfest
Make sure to show up early for “Seattle’s Ultimate Bake Sale.” PCC will be donating some of our best cookie varieties to the fest. 100 percent of Cookie Fest proceeds go directly to Seattle Milk Fund’s Child Care and Family Support Program. WildLights at the Zoo

Woodland Park Zoo
Discover the zoo in a whole new light! WildLights features wild animals and wild places recreated in hundreds of thousands of sparkling LED lights. Experience amazing indoor and outdoor light displays, see a few of our animal friends — including visiting reindeer — have a faux “snowball” fight with your family, and enjoy carolers singing the joy of the holiday season.
On Saturday, December 19, the PCC TasteMobile will be there from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. handing out hot cider and a sweet treat. See www.zoo.org/wildlights for more information.
Chinook Book Sale

Blood drive

One donation of blood can save three lives! Bloodworks Northwest will be at the West Seattle PCC collecting blood. Walk-ins are welcome. Remember to bring your ID.

Kindiependent Kids Rock Series

PCC Cooks
Registration for winter 2016 classes begins December 1. This winter we’ll trot the globe with a new selection of international menus, from Italian Winter Soups to Global Jewish Baking and La Cocina Argentina. Then, delve into technique with Cooking By Numbers and Make It Ahead! Batch Cooking; and stay warm and cozy all winter long with an array of baking classes, from Breadmaking 101 and Flatbreads of the World, to Gluten-free French Pastries. Let PCC Cooks be your kitchen companion in the new year — whether your resolution is to cook more meals at home with friends and family, master an elusive culinary skill, or just liven up your recipe box with some new favorites!
