Washington Artisan Cheesemakers Festival

The Washington Artisan Cheesemakers Festival is a premier cheese festival that celebrates artisan and farmstead cheeses made in Washington. The festival is a benefit for the Washington State Cheesemakers Association. More than 20 Washington cheesemakers plus local breweries, wineries and other artisan producers will show their wares. Women of Wonder Run

8 a.m. day-of race registration and packet pick-up

The annual Women of Wonder Run will begin at the east end of Green Lake Park. Join a 10K run/walk, a 5K run/walk, and the free “Little Wonders Run” for kids. PCC Greenlake Village and Aurora staff will be there handing out fruit and treats! For more information visit promotionevents.com/wow2.

The 10th Annual View Ridge Party in the Park, hosted by the View Ridge Community Council, will feature food, crafts, live music, face painting and more. PCC View Ridge staff will be there hosting a make-your-own trail mix station (with goodies found in our bulk department)!

Oxbow’s Family Dinner on the Farm

PCC is the signature sponsor of this farm-to-table event that includes a great meal and wine, plus an introduction to the wonders of Oxbow Farm and the people who make it so vibrant.

Cycle the WAVE

Cycle the WAVE (Women Against Violence Everywhere) is a fully supported, non-competitive, deluxe all-women’s event celebrating its 10th anniversary! It’s a spectacular bike and walk event for women of all ages and fitness levels to experience camaraderie, increase awareness of domestic violence through visibility, and raise funds for domestic violence programs across Washington state.

PCC Issaquah is proud to sponsor this event and is providing lunch items from our delicious deli at the finish line. Enjoy a festival from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for all participants and those out supporting. For more information visit support.cyclethewave.org.

Green Plate Special Garden Gala

This is not your typical sit-down affair! Mix and mingle throughout the Green Plate Special garden and kitchen. Green Plate Special is an organization that inspires and empowers youth to experience food in new ways through gardening, cooking and eating together. PCC is a sponsor of this event where you can enjoy drinks and a garden inspired meal while wandering through the garden and kitchen. Registration for fall quarter 2017 opens September 5! Holiday prep is a breeze with classes such as Roasting Rules, It’s All About the Sides, and Easy and Elegant Appetizers. Kids experience hands-on baking with holiday cookies (more classes offered every year) and, as always, you can find a wonderful array of international cuisines, single-topic workshops and classes with beer, wine and even sake pairings.
