During the last quarter of 2004, on a trial basis, PCC began offering our members the chance to save 10 percent each month on a shopping trip of their choice … In order to make sure that our co-op can afford this member benefit on a permanent basis, we will continue to test this offer for the next three months.

Kurt Beecher Dammeier has been a fan of artisan cheese for as long as he can remember … So it’s not surprising that late last year, Dammeier, an entrepreneur, opened Beecher’s Handmade Cheese in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. “I love cheese, and I felt that Seattle, as a prominent artisan product town, really needed and could support its own cheese.”
